Who pays for Pest Assurance and how much does it cost?

This article contains some of the standard ways that Pest Assurance program is setup and how the cost is covered.

  • The program cost and who pays for it is at the discretion of the property management company.
    • There are a few options to cover the cost of the Pest Assurance program
    • The most commonly used way to cover the cost is to have the owner/resident pay for the Pest Assurance program. There are several options for setting this up.  
  • The cost of the program will vary with the Pest Assurance package that you have chosen.  We have different packages to fit the needs of your geological area and common pest issues. Pest Share will help you pick the best plan for your needs.

  • Each property management company can set up their program with options such as:
    • Resident benefit package (RBP)
    • Owner benefit package (OBP)
    • A combination of both
    • Resident/Owner standalone (not part of any package).
